SC allows Firecrackers on Diwali, Christmas, New Year

The Supreme Court said that on Diwali, the permission of burning firecrackers will be done from 8 am to 10 pm.

The Supreme Court has granted permission for bursting of crackers and their sale on Tuesday, December, New Year and Christmas this year. The Supreme Court has allowed the sale of fireworks on Diwali with certain conditions throughout the country. The Supreme Court said that the sale of fireworks across the country is not completely restricted. Only the license holder will be able to sell firecrackers. 1. The Supreme Court said that permission to burn fireworks will be allowed only from 8 pm to 10 pm on Diwali.

2. The Supreme Court has stopped the sale of online firecrackers. Administration instructed to ensure it.

4. The Supreme Court allowed Christmas and New Year to burn firecrackers between 11:45 to 12:30 in addition to Diwali.

Actually, the Supreme Court had reserved its decision on August 28 after hearing all the parties on the petition demanding full ban on firecrackers. During the hearing, the Tamil Nadu government, cracker vendors and manufacturers had said that pollution is due to several reasons in the cold months and it is wrong to blame the firecrackers for any accurate study and improve quality of firecrackers.

Let you know that other people, including Arjun Gopal, had filed petitions and sought a complete ban on the production and sale of fireworks across the country. A complete ban on firecrackers was argued in the petition that the season of weddings will start from 1 November, in which the demand for fireworks on a large scale will be the worst time for the city's air.
