A: The site is written by Samarendra Nath. He has an Masters degree in Mathematics from the Calcutta University and is one of the few professional bloggers in the world. Samarendra has previously worked as a content writer in TOI and have five years of experience in computer assistant job of Government project.

Q: Can we hire you?
A: Sorry, we don’t have more vacancy now. We are six friends in the team working together. If we require any vacancy we will publish in the blog.

Q: Can we invite you to an all-expenses-paid launch event?
A: We do not accept trips and in case we choose to attend your product launch, we will take care of all our travel expenses, including transportation and hotels.

Q: Do you accept guest posts?
A: Sorry but we do not publish guest posts on GeneralStudiesManual.

Q: Can I reprint your article on my blog or in a print magazine / newspaper?
A: The short answer is no but please read the fair use guide. Plagiarism is evil and we may sometimes file a DMCA complaint against websites that republish our content illegally.

A: We have partnered with various advertising programs including Google AdSense, Blog Ads, and other affiliate programs. These programs help bring advertisers to the website and are the main source of revenue. We do not receive money or any other form of compensation from companies whose products and services are covered on the site.

Q: Where does the word “GeneralStudiesManual” come from?
A: The word “GeneralStudiesManual” doesn’t have any specific meaning but as it is unique, the original idea was that any mention of the word “GeneralStudiesManual” on the web would be related to this blog in some way or the other. GeneralStudies means all subjects that cover many different aspects of a college degree and it is designed to enable students to combine courses from many different disciplines, perhaps even courses from different universities and still obtain a college degree. General studies provides students the ability to take courses the same way they did in high school, with no one subject dominating their studies. And the GeneralStudiesManual is for fully educational portal of the entire world including all subjects and upcoming government examination notification.

A: GeneralStudiesManual is a one-man with five co-workers team at this time but if you are a talented writer of any subject and have excellent command over English send us some of your writing samples or links to your previously published work. Write a little bit about your background, a list of topics that you want to cover and how often can you contribute to the site.

We are looking for original and well-written articles and photos on topics related with any subjects of the competitive examinations. Beside this, again we say, if we have vacancy we will publish in the blog.
